TERMS & CONDITIONS

GENERAL

  1. Subject to the acceptance of the application and technical feasibility, Goan Fibernet India Pvt. Ltd. will endeavour to provide the Broadband service at the earliest.

  2. In order to subscribe to Goan Fibernet, one must be 18 (eighteen) years of age or older and must provide valid documents as requested.

  3. Devices and Installation Charges are NON refundable / NON transferable. Installation charges include: Activation Fee + Installation Cost Fee.

  4. Plan amount is NON refundable / NON transferable to any other account.

  5. All new Goan Fibernet (GFN) Broadband plans are provided with truly unlimited data usage and are not subject to any data capping unless otherwise specified under any promotional or special plan.

  6. Goan Fibernet reserves the right to revise, modify, introduce or discontinue Broadband plans, internet speeds, pricing, bundled services and benefits from time to time at its sole discretion. Customers are advised to refer to the latest Goan Fibernet plan brochure or official communication for updated plan details.

  7. Goan Fibernet does not hold responsibility for lesser Download / Upload data rates caused by the accessed website status, the international gateway or the media.

  8. The Residential Broadband connection is likely to be withdrawn in case the customer surrenders the Broadband connection.

  9. If a connection is taken during an offer period and devices are provided free of cost, then the devices will be the sole property of Goan Fibernet & the device must be returned back at the time of termination of service in working condition. Fiber cable used for a connection remains as the sole property of Goan Fibernet.

  10. Modem comes with a 1 year warranty from date of installation no matter how many replacements are made during the warranty period.

  11. Warranty will be treated null & void if product is physically damaged, water damaged, burnt, broken by natural disaster, or use which is different from the Goan Fibernet advice and instructions.

  12. Goan Fibernet will only be able to replace defective product with the same model or an equivalent product. No option of upgrading to or substituting different products. The maximum liability of Goan Fibernet is equal to, and no higher than the product purchase price.

  13. Please retain the invoice or receipt to verify the purchase for any warranty claim. Goan Fibernet may decline to offer warranty service if the effective invoice or receipt is failed to be produced.

  14. Power Supply, LAN, WiFi Router, Extenders and internal fittings of cables and wiring are to be taken care of by the customer.

  15. ONU (Modem) is chargeable at ₹1,000/- unless otherwise specified under any promotional offer.

  16. WiFi Router is chargeable separately unless it is provided free of cost or subsidised under any promotional offer, campaign or area-specific concession introduced by Goan Fibernet.

  17. Goan Fibernet will provide service till our devices (Landline handset, Modem / Modem + WiFi Router) whichever are mentioned in the application form and will NOT be responsible for any additional purchase (LAN, Routers, Extenders, etc.) from Goan Fibernet employees / third party.

  18. Shifting of a Residential Broadband connection is subjected to technical feasibility. If feasible, shifting of connection will initiate after the payment of shifting charges. If the existing device (Landline, Modem / Modem + WiFi Router) does not support at the place of shifting, then device replacement charges are applicable.

  19. If devices are provided free of cost and do NOT support at the place of shifting, the devices must be returned back in working condition along with the power adapter.

  20. A Residential Broadband plan can only be offered to subscribers working at home / residence for personal purposes.

  21. With immediate effect, all new Broadband connections shall be activated only under the latest Goan Fibernet (GFN) Broadband plans. Previously discontinued plans shall not be available for any new customer activations.

  22. Existing customers may continue to renew their existing Broadband plans or voluntarily upgrade to any of the latest Goan Fibernet Broadband plans, subject to eligibility and technical feasibility.

  23. Migration of existing customers to the latest Broadband plans shall not be mandatory unless otherwise communicated by Goan Fibernet.

  24. Goan Fibernet shall endeavour to provide reliable & efficient services to its customers.

  25. Goan Fibernet may update its Internet services, provide new facilities, modify & delete certain features, upgrade its network capacity, bandwidth, speed, add new nodes & reconfigure its network as per need without prior intimation.

  26. Goan Fibernet may revise the tariff for its Residential Broadband Services & its Value-Added Services from time to time at its own discretion.

  27. All Broadband plan prices, device charges and service charges mentioned in brochures, advertisements, promotional material or official communications are exclusive of applicable GST, unless specifically stated otherwise.

  28. The existing Referral Programme shall continue as per the prevailing Goan Fibernet Referral Policy. Goan Fibernet reserves the right to modify, suspend or discontinue the Referral Programme or its benefits at its sole discretion.

  29. Technician charges will be applicable if the users face issues with third-party devices and want a technician visit to their residence.

  30. Reconnection of services – account will be suspended if NOT recharged within 3 months. Reconnection charges are applicable.

  31. If payment is done via Cheque, connection will be processed once the cheque is cleared. If the cheque is bounced, return charges of Rs.350/- will be applicable.

  32. If customers want to activate their future plan, the existing plan data or valid days will not be carried forward to the future plan.

  33. Free installation includes up to 300 meters of fiber optic cable. Any additional cable beyond this limit will incur extra charges on a per-meter basis, as determined by the sales executive at the time of installation.

OTT SUBSCRIPTION

  1. The OTT Add-On Subscription is available only with an active Goan Fibernet Broadband connection and is applicable to new customers from 1 September 2026.
  2. Existing customers will continue to avail of their existing OTT bundle plan unless and until the Management decides to discontinue or modify the same. Once an existing customer upgrades to the new OTT plan, the new OTT plan shall apply, and the customer will not be permitted to revert to or continue with the previous OTT plan.
  3. Customers wishing to activate or subscribe to the OTT Add-On must contact the Goan Fibernet Customer Support Team. The Customer Support Team will also assist customers with OTT activation, login, access and other OTT-related support queries.
  4. The validity period of the OTT Add-On shall correspond to the validity period of the subscribed Broadband plan. Accordingly, customers on a 1-month Broadband plan can subscribe only to the 1-month OTT Add-On, while customers on a 3-month Broadband plan can subscribe only to the 3-month OTT Add-On. A customer cannot subscribe to an OTT Add-On with a validity period longer than that of their Broadband plan.
  5. The applicable Subscription Fee will be charged as per the selected OTT Add-On Plan. Subscription Fees are inclusive of applicable taxes and are non-refundable and non-transferable. The OTT benefit has no cash equivalent and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other service.
  6. OTT services are provided through the respective third-party OTT providers and are subject to their respective Terms of Use, Privacy Policies, content policies and technical requirements. Goan Fibernet India Pvt. Ltd. does not control the content, features, availability or operation of such third-party services.
  7. OTT content, channels, programmes, features and services may be added, removed, modified or become unavailable based on the policies, licensing arrangements or decisions of the respective OTT providers. Goan Fibernet does not guarantee the continued availability of any particular content or platform.
  8. Access to OTT services is subject to the applicable device limits, supported devices and technical requirements of the respective OTT providers. Customers are responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of their login credentials, OTPs and passwords.
  9. The OTT Add-On is intended for personal and non-commercial use only. Customers shall not copy, record, redistribute, resell, publicly display or commercially exploit the OTT content or services.
  10. If the Goan Fibernet Broadband connection becomes inactive, is suspended or is terminated, the associated OTT Add-On may also be suspended or discontinued. OTT benefits are non-transferable, unless otherwise specified by Goan Fibernet or the respective OTT provider.
  11. Goan Fibernet shall not be responsible for any interruption or unavailability of OTT services caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including technical failures, maintenance, third-party platform issues, content licensing restrictions, natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions or other emergency situations.
  12. Customer information required for OTT activation and service delivery may be shared with the respective OTT provider and will be processed in accordance with the applicable privacy policies and terms of the respective provider.
  13. Existing customers under the SuperStream – Data Plans include access to 22 OTT platforms bundled with PlayboxTV 400+ LIVE TV, offering a complete entertainment experience featuring SonyLIV Premium, Zee5, Discovery Plus, Shemaroo, Hungama, FanCode, DistroTV, Hubhopper, iTap, Stage, Raj Digital TV, Shorts TV, TravelXP, Nammaflix, RunnTV, Shucae Flim, Dangal Play, OM TV, Waves, OTT Plus and AaoNXT — unless and until the Management decides to discontinue or modify the existing OTT offering, subject to the applicable terms and conditions of the respective OTT providers.
  14. New customers subscribing to any eligible Data Plan will be eligible to subscribe to the new OTT Add-On, which includes the following 17 OTT platforms: JioHotstar, Zee5, Sony Liv, Amazon Prime Lite, Hungama, FanCode, Shemaroo Me, Shorts TV, Ultra Jhakaas, Tarang Plus, Sanskar+, Chana Jor, AaoNXT, Stage, Watcho Exclusives, Gamezop and Quizzo. The OTT Add-On will be available as an additional subscription with the applicable Data Plan and will be subject to the applicable terms, conditions, availability and subscription policies of the respective OTT providers.
  15. Goan Fibernet reserves the right to modify, replace, suspend or discontinue any OTT Add-On, platform, content, feature or benefit, subject to applicable terms and regulations.

OTT Platform Details & Activation
  1. Amazon Prime Lite: The OTT Add-On includes the Amazon Prime Lite plan. Customers can watch Prime Video on 1 device only (Mobile or TV), in HD (720p) quality with ads. Web browser access is not supported – streaming is available only through the Prime Video App. To activate, log in to the VZY App using your 10-digit mobile number and OTP, select Amazon Prime Lite, and then log in to (or create) your Amazon account using the same mobile number. For TV, complete the mobile activation first and then log in to the Prime Video App on your TV using the same Amazon account.
  2. JioHotstar: The OTT Add-On includes the JioHotstar Super with Ads plan. Customers can watch on up to 2 screens at the same time and log in on up to 5 devices. It is available on TV and mobile through the JioHotstar App. To activate, log in to the VZY App using your 10-digit mobile number and OTP, select JioHotstar, and then log in to the JioHotstar App using the same mobile number. For TV, complete the mobile activation first and then log in to the JioHotstar App on your TV using the same mobile number.
  3. SonyLIV: The OTT Add-On includes the LIV Premium plan. Customers can watch on 1 screen at a time and log in on up to 5 devices. It is available on TV and mobile through the SonyLIV App or Watcho. To activate, log in to the VZY App using your 10-digit mobile number and OTP, select SonyLIV, and follow the instructions. For TV, complete the mobile activation first, select More > Activate TV, and enter the 4-digit code shown on your TV.
  4. ZEE5: The OTT Add-On includes the ZEE5 All Access with Ads plan. Customers can watch on up to 2 screens at the same time and log in on up to 5 devices. It is available on TV and mobile through the ZEE5 App. To activate, log in to the VZY App using your 10-digit mobile number and OTP, select ZEE5, and follow the instructions. For TV, complete the mobile activation first and then log in to the ZEE5 App on your TV using the same mobile number.
  5. Entertainment Bundle: The OTT Add-On includes access to a bundle of entertainment, regional, and lifestyle content platforms, including Stage, Jhakaas, Watcho Exclusives, Odia+, Shemaroo Me, Aao NXT, Hungama OTT, FanCode, ShortsTV, Sanskar, discovery+, Gamerji, and Quizzop. Customers can watch on up to 4 screens at the same time and log in on up to 5 devices. It is available on TV and mobile through the App. To activate on mobile, download the App, log in with your 10-digit mobile number and OTP, and once your subscription is active, click on the App icon to be redirected to the content page, then click on any content to start watching. For TV, complete the mobile activation process first, then log in to the TV App using the same mobile number used for the mobile login, and follow the same steps as the mobile process.
  6. Watcho: The OTT Add-On includes access to Watcho. Customers can watch on up to 4 screens at the same time and log in on up to 5 devices. It is available on TV and mobile through the Watcho App. Customers can access the subscription through the Watcho App using their registered mobile number and follow the instructions provided in the app.
  1. A Subscription fee will be charged accordingly to the Plan chosen, for which, the OTT based Content Services made available through the respective content providers & the same will be billed at the Goan Fibernet customer portal in the beginning of the Subscription Period.
  2. The Data + OTT Subscription Plan opted by you will be effective from the date you select the New Plan and appropriate payments made thereof. Further, all Subscription Fee specified for each Subscription Plan will be exclusive of all applicable taxes & such Subscription Fee billed will be non-refundable /non-transferable irrespective of anything.
  3. If the Pricing for the new Subscription Plan opted for is less than that of the earlier Subscription Plan, then the difference in pricing will not be adjusted to the next billing or renewal cycle. Offers and Pricing for Subscription may change subject to Time & Location.
  4. The Subscription Services that we offer will be from Third Parties. In such cases it is the Third Parties who shall be the decision makers for the features of the Services & Content and the same shall be subject to change or non-Availability. Goan Fibernet India Pvt. Ltd. shall hold no responsibility, Liability in this regard.
  5. Goan Fibernet India Pvt. Ltd. will not be responsible for any failure of the OTT services as the causes are beyond its control and should be taken up with the respected content provider, including but not limited to acts of God, war, and riot, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods or accident(s), pandemic & emergency situations etc.
  6. If you are under 18 years of age, you may use the service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
  7. The customer’s account will be suspended if no recharge has been done within 1 year.
  8. You shall be responsible for ensuring reasonable security measures regarding your login credentials and in no event shall Goan Fibernet India Pvt. Ltd. be responsible or liable in this regard.
  9. It is herein agreed that all Promotional Subscription to Goan Fibernet India Pvt. Ltd. OTT services shall be subject to the Terms of Use. Further, we reserve the right to determine your eligibility in this regard.
  10. All the terms and conditions and the availability of content will be maintained by their respective OTT providers. Going forward, if the content provider removes any content from their platform and creates a new tier of service for special content, Goan Fibernet India Pvt. Ltd. won’t be responsible.
  11. We may send you promotions or otherwise communicate with you electronically, which may include email, push notification, or posts and you hereby consent to receive those communications. These communications will be in accordance with the Goan Fibernet Privacy Policy.

  12. SuperStream – Data plans include access to 22 OTT platforms bundled with PlayboxTV 400+ LIVE TV, offering a complete entertainment experience featuring SonyLIV Premium, Zee5, Discovery Plus, Shemaroo, Hungama, Fancode, DistroTV, Hubhopper, iTap, Stage, Raj Digital TV, Shorts TV, TravelXP, Nammaflix, RunnTV, Shucae Flim, Dangal Play, OM TV, Waves, OTT Plus, AaoNxt

RIGHT TO TERMINATE SERVICE:

  1. Goan Fibernet reserves the right to disconnect the service to any customer in case there is sufficient evidence of the customer intentionally or unintentionally using the service in a manner which would adversely impact Goan Fibernet.

  2. The customer shall be responsible for using the service only for legal and appropriate purposes.

  3. Goan Fibernet reserves the right to terminate the services in the event of non-payment of bills preferred by Goan Fibernet in accordance with the tariff plans opted by the customer and the extent of usage or any default on the part of the customer.

THE CUSTOMER UNDERSTANDS AND ACKNOWLEDGES THAT:

  1. The mode of connectivity will be Fiber Optic which is overhead. Goan Fibernet gives no guarantee against cable cuts. Reporting of a cable cut shall be attended and resolved at the earliest.

  2. Necessary Installation charges are payable to Goan Fibernet for connecting Modem/ONU and other interface equipment as applicable and the same are NON-refundable / NON-transferable. The customer is required to complete the necessary formalities at the Goan Fibernet office.

  3. Forgery of any identification or obscuring of hostnames, usernames, IP addresses or any message header information in any data is not permitted.

  4. Sending harassing or threatening transmission over Goan Fibernet leased Internet service is not permitted.

  5. Internet contains unedited materials, some of which may be sexually explicit, offensive or provocative for which Goan Fibernet has no control.

  6. Messages or communications which are inconsistent with the established laws of the country cannot be created, downloaded or accessed.

  7. Customer acknowledges the Terms & Conditions of the offers & policies which are mentioned on the official Goan Fibernet website

Customer accepts total responsibility and risk for use of the Internet Services and is in compliance with all the applicable laws including but not limited to Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Rules made thereunder.
